The Swatch Group has expanded its worldwide Customer Service network with the opening of the first Swiss watch subsidiary in Jakarta, Indonesia. Swatch Group brands’ customers are now able to have their timepieces maintained in Jakarta, in a state of the art facility, equipped with modern tools and serviced by watchmakers trained according to the Swiss apprenticeship and following the Swiss craftsmanship standards. The watchmaking programme was developed by WOSTEP (Watchmakers of Switzerland Training and Education Program) and the Swiss watch industry with the backing of the Swiss Watch Industry Employers’ Association.
As a general rule, it is recommended to have a timepiece serviced every four to five years by an authorised service centre and to have the water resistance checked once per year. Swatch Group Indonesia Customer Service Centre offers a wide range of watch services, from light intervention (battery or bracelet exchange, bracelet or timing adjustment) to complete services on watches with complications.
Indonesian Swatch Group brands’ customers can either visit the PT Swatch Group Indonesia Customer Service Center facility in Jakarta on weekdays during business hours or send in their timepieces through the authorised retailers’ network, spread out across the archipelago.
